All was good. However tolit was very small and low. They had no safety strips in the bath tub nor was there a rubber tub mat. Was a problem for my wife she is slightly handicapped. The staff were friendly, efficient and the refurbished rooms were clean.
We arrived around 3:30pm, our room wasn't ready yet (check-in begins at 3pm). Reception called housekeeping and had us in our room within 20 minutes. I appreciated knowing that our room had just been cleaned, we didn't have any issue with the state of cleanliness. Very convenient location, a short walk to downtown or the waterfront. Parking is free, which a plus given that street parking is not and nearby City Cruises (Boldt Castle cruise) charges $9-18 per day. Given that most economy hotel chains don't provide breakfast anymore, the free breakfast was a nice touch.
Very nice hotel, right in the middle of everything. Spent 4 nights with my wonderful wife, didn't need to use our vehicle while in the city, everything was walkable. Our last night house keeping folded our towels into swans, very cute and unexpected.
Great location and service! The rooms were renovated and the beds were comfortable! The breakfast had such a great and large selection. Would definitely book again.
This has to be the best Choice Hotel we have ever stayed. I have to give a big shout out to the front desk staff. They made us feel welcomed and helped us with any request and recommendation. The breakfast buffet was consistently well stocked. The buffet staff made sure that they did not run low on anything. We will definitely stay here again if we ever visit 1000 Islands again.
Had my wedding in gan over the weekend. The hotel provided myself and many out of town guests with exceptional service, at a fair price. The rooms were very clean and comfy and breakfast was great. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
This hotel was so wonderful for my dog and I. She’s a big dog, but they were very good to her. They provided treats and put her photo on the wall of fame! Check out Lady Jane when you visit. :) Do bring a dog bed though as the floors are not carpeted. Front desk staff was amazing, room was clean. Large fridge. Great location. Reasonably priced.
Great place to stay and get exactly what you expect. Kim at the front was amazing and so friendly at helping us get a room booked which we really appreciate. This type of customer service makes a lasting impression. The hotel is in a great location to the waterfront and restaurants with a decent breakfast provided in the morning.
